How to buy

 
 
1. Cart
 
 
In e-shop Balticbooks.lt you can conveniently find items by browsing through the menu or by using the search feature.
 
 
Once you have made a selection, press the “Cart” button and it will be added to your shopping basket. In the upper menu, on the right, you can see the total amount of your purchases in your shopping basket.
 
 
After all selected items have been added to your basket, you can confirm the order. This can be done in shopping basket, which can be reached through the link in upper menu on the right.
 
 
Please check in your shopping basket that all items and quantities are correct. Then please press the button „Shipping Addresses“.
 
 
2. Address
 
 
There are three choices:
 
 
If you are not a registered Balticbooks.lt user and don’t want to become one, you can choose to buy without registration. Just press the “Next” button. In the opened window you’ll need to enter your contact details and shipping address.
 
 
If you are a registered Balticbooks.lt user, just enter your e-mail address and login password and press the „Login“ button. Your contact details and shipping address will be filled in for you.
 
 
If you are not a registered Balticbooks.lt user, but would like to become one, please choose the third choice – open a personal account. After completing the form you‘ll become a registered Balticbooks.ltuser, and you will not have to enter your contact details and shipping address next time.
 
 
If you are buying in the name of a company, and you‘ll recquire an invoice, please press the button „For company buyers“ and enter the required data.
 
 
If your personal address and the shipping address are different, please press the button „Shipping Addresses“ and enter the address for delivery.
 
 
Important. If the package is to be accepted and signed by another person, please indicate this in the „What I wanted to say...“ column.
 
 
Please check if all contact details and the shipping address are correct. If yes, please press the „Payment Method“ button.
 
 
3. Pay
 
 
Payment method depends on the delivery method chosen by customer (more details about this are included in the section on „Shipping and Charges“).
 
 
For customers abroad we offer three payment methods:
 
 
Webtopay.com. Making a payment via the Webtopay.com. payment system is safe and very easy. You‘ll be directed to the Webtopay.com. portal, where, after choosing method of payment (bank, credit card, paypal etc.), you‘ll login and confirm the already prepared payment. We will receive notification about your payment immediately and will start to execute your order.
 
 
Paypal – credit card. You have to be a registered Paypal user.
 
 
International Bank Transfer. Bank fees must be paid by the customer when making an international bank transfer. A payment fee of 3% of your order value will be added to your bill.

After choosing the delivery and payment method please press the button „Order“.
 
 
4. Order
 
 
In the new window, check if all the information is correct. You can make changes here. Once everything is correct, you should confirm you‘ve read our Terms and Conditions and press „Submit“.
 
 
Now you have to make the payment according to selected payment method. If you chose to pay via Webtopay.com or Paypal systems, you will be redirected to either www.webtopay.com or www.paypal.com website, where you can pay for your items.
 
 
Many thanks for your order! You will receive a confirmation message in your mailbox.
 
 
Shipping and Charges
 
 
In Lithuania:
 
 
1.      Delivery by courier (our partner – courier Lex system). The delivery charge within Lithuania is 9 litas (except municipality of Neringa, where the cost is 140 litas).
 
 
EU countries:
 
 
1.      Express international delivery by post – cost is 15 litas for one book, plus 10 litas for each additional book.
 
 
Delivery to EU countries takes 5-10 working days, if the title you ordered is in stock. If not, we would order the title directly from the publisher and which could take up to 2-4 weeks. Every product description provides information about availability.
 
 
Other countries:
 
 
1.      International delivery by post – cost is 25 litas for one book, plus 10 litas for each additional book.
 
2.      Express international delivery by post – cost is 45 litas for one book, plus 10 litas for each additional book.
 
 
Delivery to other countries by priority mail takes 5-10 working days, if the title you ordered is in stock. If not, we would order the title directly from the publisher and which could take up to 2-4 weeks. Every product description provides information about availability. Non-priority delivery will take 4-8 weeks.
 
 
Attention! If you spend 150 litas or more in e-shop Humanitas.lt, we‘ll deliver your order within Lithuania FREE OF CHARGE.
 
 
Delivery price is automatically calculated and added to your payment order.
 
 
After receiving your payment, e-shop Balticbooks.lt will to deliver the order within 2-3 working days within Lithuania, except when items are out of stock.
 
 
In every product description you can see information marked with „!” if at the moment we have it in our warehouse. For example:
 
 
! „We have product“,
! “We don‘t have this product at the moment”.
 
 
If we don‘t currently stock the item you are interested in, you can order it. As soon as we receive your order and payment, we‘ll start to execute your order, and ship within 2-4 weeks.
 
 
We ship only full orders. If you want to receive some books, which are in stock, sooner, please, contact us on work days at 10.00-18.00 by phone +370 5 2661684 or e-mail pagalba@humanitas.lt.
 
 
The customer agrees that in exceptional cases, delivery could be delayed owing to circumstances which can not be forseen and do not depend on Balticbooks.lt. In this case we‘ll immediately contact the customer to solve questions of delivery.
 
 
Balticbooks.lt is not responsible for non-delivery if the customer provided incorrect delivery details on the order or failed to be present at the agreed time and place of delivery. If the courier fails 3 times to deliver an order to the customer, it is then returned to Balticbooks.lt.
 
 
Condition of delivery. When accepting your delivery, please check the condition of the publications and sign the bill of lading or other reception – transfer document. If you have any observations about the package or condition of the publications, please inform the representative of courier at the moment of transfer. If customer notices that package is damaged (crumpled, wet or otherwise damaged), he should indicate it on the delivery document. If this document is signed without remarks, we‘ll consider that the order was delivered undamaged.
